Family Care Australia is a registered provider with the NDIS that aims to accommodate any individual across Sydney. The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a reform that aims to improve the lives of people with disability in Australia. As a registered and approved NDIS service provider in Sydney, Family Care Australia is able to provide you with choice and control by providing world-class support.

Core Supports

Core support is one of the FCA main support which assists all the NDIS participants with day to day life activities including assistance in travel, personal activities, participation with the community and daily tasks.  

The most important feature of core support is your budget would be flexible which means you can use your funding across all of your core support categories.

Support Services

Our support services enable NDIS participants to have more choice and control over their lives. Our support services include Plan Management and Sup[port Coordination. We provide participants with the complete right to choose and pay for services according to their budget and goals. Support services are divided into two categories; support coordination and plan management.

Accomodation

Specialist Disability Accomodation (SDA)

Specialist Disability Accommodation or SDA is a range of innovative homes especially designed with the purpose to meet the support requirements of National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants with extreme functional impairment or very high support needs.

Supported Independent
Living (SIL)

Supported Independent Living or SIL, is a type of support included in the Core support budget under NDIS Plan. This support lets you live as independently as possible while building their skills. It includes assistance or supervision with daily tasks, assistance with personal activities.

Respite
Care

Respite care allows for both a person with a disability and their carer to have a break or a change of scenery. It is the alternative care that is put in place while a usual care giver is unavailable. Respite care for people with disability can be for a few hours during the day.

Home
Modification

Home modification are changes to the structure, layout or fittings to your home that are required to enable safe access and move around frequently used areas in their home. Home Modification becomes really important specially when your circumstances are changing.

Core Supports

Travel

Transport supports include personal transport-related aids and equipment, or training to use public transport. These supports may also include the reasonable and necessary costs of taxis or other private transport options.

Family Care Australia is committed to giving back to the community and is proud of having experienced support workers who are determined to provide only the best services to all participants.

Participation within the Community

It is a funded support category that you will find in your NDIS plan, under Core Supports. This category of funding covers the support NDIS participants need to meet goals relating to participating in community, social or recreational activities.

Daily Tasks / Shared
Living

Assistance With Daily Tasks focuses on developing and enhancing domestic skills that allow clients to live autonomously. It is a support category under the Core Support budget enable participants to complete daily life tasks and achieve their goals.
